Gated Community

The entry should look, clean and welcoming. I’m sure that at the time BVS was just getting started our gate building and arms were sufficient and appropriate. Times have changed. Our entry/gate needs an update.

Besides making you feel secure, our gate needs to make you feel good as you enter and exit Bear Valley Springs. It should make you proud when you invite your friends. It should make a statement.

This is not a good look for our community as well as for our CSD. While there is no real excuse for having tape hold our equipment together, it is made worse by the fact that it has been that way for months. These type of problems should be addressed immediately.

As many of us may remember the backup that was created during one of the recent gate crashes. It is a very common and costly occurrence. Alternatives need to be investigated and incorporated into a new design.

Our gate and road exiting BVS are not going to be effective during an emergency. There just isn’t enough room. Improvements should be a part of new design

One of the obvious benefits of the gate is it’s ability to deter vandals. It still has flaws that make it weak and vulnerable. Besides the constant breaking of the arm itself there is no turn around area available without allowing entry. This should be a part of a new design.
